How does Folgo manage Ownership Request?
You received an email request to transfer ownership of some of your Google Drive files (either to a colleague or to a Shared Drive). What will happen exactly if you approve the transfer?
1- Make sure you are ok to transfer ownership of all files listed
The email you received contains a link to a Google Sheets spreadsheet with the list of all files to transfer.
Open that spreadsheet to make sure you are OK to transfer all those files.
If you are not OK to transfer a few files in the list, simply delete the relevant rows.

2- Allow Folgo to bulk transfer ownership of all those files in your name
Click on the "Approve" button in the email received.
If you have never used Folgo in the past, you will be prompted to give permissions to perform operations on your Google account.
Why does Folgo need all those permissions?

To automatically transfer ownership of those files, Folgo needs a few permissions on your Google account:
Rest assured that:
- Those permissions will only be used to do this transfer and nothing else.
- Google conducted a review before authorizing Folgo to ask those permissions.
- Folgo is requesting the minimum relevant permissions possible based on the task to perform and the permission levels made available by Google.
Read our Privacy Policy to learn how Folgo processes your Google Drive data in a secured way.
Revoke Folgo permissions (optional)
Folgo will never do any additional action on your Google account.
Still, you might prefer to proactively revoke all given permissions once the transfer is complete.
To do that, simply follow Google tutorial on how to remove third-party account access.
